This workshop provides an overview of sound transmission, recording and reproduction. A special emphasis on audio terminology to allow attendees to communicate clearly about sound-related problems they encounter in the world of healthcare simulation.
The workshop also describes different types of audio components, wires, cable and audio connectors that may be encountered in a simulation center. Design features of several centers is highlighted to show how these tools have been implemented for improved learner engagement and enhanced function within the simulation center.
