Blueprint for Success: Building Procedural Skills Events Using Standardized Setup Templates
by Preston Phillips and JT Lincoln
Procedural skills training is an essential tool for learning within the healthcare simulation community that gives learners the ability to practice in a low-risk environment and receive timely feedback. However for a technician and educator, planning for these events can often be a difficult process. In this presentation we discuss tools and strategies that make planning and setting up for a procedural event an easier and more organized process with the use of standardized planning templates.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the importance of using standardized setup templates to plan and build procedural training events.
